18yr old needing glasses

My DD 18 had eye test today as she kept saying she couldnt see things in the distance. Turns out she 1.75 in both eyes and has to wear glasses all the time. She's feeling anxious about this. Im guessing it's not something she will grow out of now.
My side of the family only have glasses for computer work etc but her dad wears the all the time. Thanks!

I didn't start wearing glasses until I was 15. More for distance to begin with but started to need them all the time in my 20s. Glasses frames and shapes are lovely. So many colours and styles to choose from. The optical assistants in the shop will spend ages with you helping you choose. I come from a glasses wearing family. All my aunties and cousins wear them. Yes it's a change but it's no issue. It's great to see the leaves on the tree's and the labels on the shelf!
