Acts of kindness/common sense you’ve seen recently

Lots of threads about annoying and selfish things people observe but does anyone have any positive stories about kindness they’ve seen recently?

My last one was waiting for a train on a very crowded platform and people making sure that people with kids and older people got on first to hopefully get a seat rather than just pushing in regardless. Was so lovely. Also people offering to help others getting cases on.

Great thread and I'd love some ideas if possible? Yesterday I complimented an elderly lady on her lovely summer outfit and she gave me a lovely smile.

On holiday at the moment and on the Facebook page there is a roaring trade of people exchanging items rather than then a) going ti landfill or b) people paying extortionate prices in the shop

Someone at work left a note in the office fridge to apologise for having knocked someone else's yoghurt onto the floor when they opened it earlier, and offering their own can of fanta if the yoghurt-owner would like it as recompense. Makes a changes from the classic pass-agg office fridge note!

I had to have an X-ray yesterday, GP concerned about crippling back pain.

The two radiographers were so kind and understanding of the pain getting on the table was, never mind being manipulated for each angle - I was handed tissues and they explained exactly what they were doing, manually manoeuvring my legs when I just couldn't, and keeping the gown covering me decent.

We have a lot to say about the NHS but there are so so many wonderful and unappreciated staff working for us.
