PortAventura Salou accessibility help/contact

We are going to salou in a few weeks and have free entry into PortAventura through our hotel.

DD(9) has ASC and I have contacted them to ask about what help they offer for people with additional needs to access the park.

I've contacted them via the online form on their website twice and through DM via tiktok and Instagram and I have had no reply.

Does anyone know how else to contact them? I can't find an email address on their website.

Look on the Facebook page for British visitors there is one for guests with additional needs as well. When we went a few years ago we showed the access card at guest services but some people have been saying they were asked for more evidence like diagnosis or dla letters. We then access the rides at the exit and pretty much just walked on.

Oh good idea! I'm not on Facebook so I never think of that. I do have an old account I can reactivate though. Thank you

We went last year in October and my husband has a physical disability, he took his blue badge and when you get to the entrance area just past the security checks there is an office to go in. He went in and showed his blue badge, he was then given a band to use the 2 days we were there that had a barcode on it, you go in the exit/fast lane at rides and they will scan it and you basically get right on the rides.i think you could only use it once an hour and an adult had to be with my husband if he was using it, he went to go on a ride with our 13 year old while I waited with our youngest and they wouldn’t let him on without me but he could have queued normally.

portadventura is fab, I’d say we went 2 midweek days and then I went back just me and my youngest on a Friday and it was crazy the difference in how busy it was with the Friday being mobbed but strangely the sesame bit being much quieter on the Friday especially as the day went on. It’s a fantastic park you will have a great time.

Ah ok that's so helpful thank you.

Do you know if they have any quiet spaces? I think she will maybe need a few breaks thoughout the day.

I’m not sure about specific quiet spaces but we found plenty of little out of the way bits just to go for a seat out of the way. My youngest(9) is on the neurological pathway at the moment and also doesn’t like too loud noises or busy crowds but she coped really well. The park is massive, Ferrari land is a lot smaller and I would say noisier but it’s only open from about 5 pm and I would say it’s more intense with less places to sit but it will be lighter at night when you go so it might be better.

there is a ride at sesame land I think called flying fish, we all loved it! One of the best rides I’ve ever been on and my 9 year old still talks about it so hopefully your daughter will as well. I’m sure you will have a fab time! 😍
