When did your period come back after birth ?

Hello everyone I’m 5 months pp and no period?
i was exclusively breast feeding at the start. But for a while I’ve been doing formula too.
he just has boob in the night now.
all my friends had babies at same time and they e had multiple periods. Should I be worried? Xx

No, everyone seems to be different. I weaned off breastfeeding over a month or so and my period came back about a month after my final breastfeed, with both of my babies.

Took nearly a year.

Two years first time due to Bf, one year second time - was Bf but deliberately ate more cake

14 months both times. I bf both, only Co slept with one, they fed to totally different patterns but still 14 months almost exactly.

my mum was 14 months both times too. Very weird.

4 weeks. Ebf until weaning, stopped bf DC1 and 11 months and DC2 at 23 months.

8 months first time, 12 months second. Was still breastfeeding round the clock at that point in both cases.

I didn't breast feed. I have my first period about three weeks after birth.

13 months after DC1&2 (twins, breastfed without formula until 24 months+)

23 months after DC3 (breastfed until 4 years)

I can’t remember after DC4, but it was at least 2 years.

After each DC it came back bang on regular once it started.

Everyone is different. Try not to worry.
