Sailing trip for DofE Gold residential recommendations?

I am trying to find a sailing residential for my DD 17 for her DofE Gold. We are in the south, so would prefer not to have to get her to Scotland or Ireland to embark. Budget is about £800.

Knowing nothing about sailing I am at a bit of a loss, and they all look much the same, though we have worked out that she would like to get the Competent Crew qualification out of it. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Andrew Simpson centres - I think Portland offers residential. https://andrewsimpsoncentres.org/courses?sport%5B%5D=sailing&location%5B%5D=portland

Is it to learn to sail a dinghy? If so, I'd thoroughly recommend the Andrew Simpson Centre at Portland. My DS was there at least once a week for years and has done many of their week long courses- they are great. However, it's not a PGL type set-up where the kids are also looked after. You would have to be there too for before/ after sailing. You can stay at Portland House which is virtually on site and quite reasonably priced.

Ocean Youth Trust South often depart and return to Southampton.

Scratch my post- it appears it needs to be properly residential.
