Omg just in time for my new baby :) I did actually find a half a tube that is 7 years old in my cupboard the other day.

I thought they completely discontinued it because they couldn't keep up with the quality of the product without severely hiking up prices ?

They have sneakily changed the packaging on the barrier cream from purple to yellow. It’s not the excellent yellow cream though.

Is it definitely the original one cos as the poster above said, they changed the purple one to yellow. Sneaky bastards. If it is then great news, I’ve been using my last tube sparingly I’ve got two still in nappies!

That might be correct, but I wouldn't trust AI to be up to date.

It's just new packaging, there's even a warning that comes with it on the Boots website that states it isn't the original yellow nappy balm.

They had to stop selling it because the safety of one of the ingredients is being called into question and potentially banned.

Just wanted to say, there is a new nappy spray out by Ashton and Parsons - it’s called soothing nappy spray. It has the same ingredients as Metanium, it is unbelievable!! It’s a spray so don’t have to wipe it, it’s white so nothing gets ruined. Dare I say, it cleared up my daughter’s rash faster than Metanium did?? So good! I got it from Tesco.
