I had to submit an essay for some homework for a college course. I do appreciate the task that I had to do because it is preparing me for the final assessments.
I got some feedback from the tutor. I am not someone who becomes butt hurt on critism and I do appreciate it because I can now learn from this for the future and I also have the feedback documented so that I can go back on a few topics.
So I do appreciate it.
The feedback so that I needed more detail in the topic to demonstrate my understanding.
However the question asked me to research some technology and in 200 words to explain how it works and how it helps people.
It said in 200 words.
I didn't keep it exactly to 200 words. It went over. But I really reflected on the question.
Also I did so some research and there were so many websites and topics on it and I had to be careful not to copy exactly what I saw online and to put things into my own words. So that's what I did.
I am just a little pissed off. That's all.
Also in the feedback I was told that my references weren't in the correct format so I do appreciate the feedback.
I just think it was a little harsh asking me for more details in my work. I explained the definition of the technology and then I explained how it works and I explained an example and everything. It was hard because of the '200 words' in the question.
Just a rant here really.
It was just homework and not work for a final mark.
Not looking forward to the rest of this course.
I like the course but everyone around me seems to be finding it difficult to adapt that I am less available.
