Wart or blood blister on thumb?

I started a thread on wart treatment in General health last week but only got one reply, so posting here for traffic.

The photos (when mn deems them safe) show day 1 and day 7 of the sot on my thumb that I initially thought was a wart.

Having used salicylic plaster dots in the last few days, it actually resembles more like a blood blister now. It doesn't even hurt anymore either. The surface is now smooth, if a bit harder, but could that be the salicylic acid working? I don't want to keep treating it if it's not a wart.

Blood blisters are red from the off. They’re called that because it’s a little lump that’s actually filled with blood, if it wasn’t red to begin with it’s not a blood blister, but I can’t see clearly enough to tell if it’s actually a wart.

That’s a wart. Sorry. Get it lasered off. Only thing that works quickly and efficiently as one zap kills the root. Costs about £100 but worth it.

But you may be lucky and have killed it off. If not, zap zap zap

That's okay. I shall persist with the plasters as they seem to be working well.
