Ribs making a distinct "clunk" but not that sore?

Posting here because I don't think I really have a health problem. However I do worry myself with my stupidity... I think I'm probably just looking for sympathy

So yesterday I stood on a stepping stone dh had successfully navigated earlier in the dry, only by now it had started raining so you guessed it, into the stream I went.

The situation was slightly complicated by the fact that my hand is in a plaster cast because ONLY THE DAY BEFORE I was diagnosed and treated for a metacarpal fracture sustained while jumping up an down in the dining room, and whacking my knuckle HARD on a wooden chair (on Saturday night).

So because I was vaguely aware I shouldn't land on my broken hand I somehow landed on my knees and side and rolled - possibly over some stones? Definitely over the wire of my bra anyway😖

ANYHOW now of course I am sore in multiple places (one elbow as well 😅) but was trying to do some back exercises earlier but as I awkwardly lowered myself to the floor one-handed there was a really alarming kind of big clunk that felt like my ribs had bashed into each other under my boob somewhere (under the bra band in fact) When I tried to move it did it again. Although its all sore round there the clunks/jolts were not accompanied by extra pain. Just gave me a real fright! Luckily I did manage to get up without a repeat.

So I think my bra was pressing two swollen ribs together and they were struggling to find room to pass each other, hence the clunk.

Has anyone else experienced similar? Please say you have - I am so embarrassed by this whole stupid episode....and am praying I haven't done any serious damage beyond the broken hand.😭

I might post on health anyway? Would that be better?
