I knocked a little dish of small objects-a pendant, a couple of pairs of earrings, that sort of thing-off the worktop into a large bag for life full of recycling. I am now bracing myself for sorting through the bag to find everything. At least it’s recycling, not yucky rubbish, right?

oh yes it could be worse...the organic food waste recycle bin.

Yes and that you know where they fell. Gloves on and search carefully as an earring could be in the corner of packet.

Given we’re supposed to clean recyclables then I honestly do not see what the problem is. Unless it’s a bag of pots and things that you’ve left covered in food waste.

It’s all clean but there is a lot of it and lots of folded paper and card and packets and so on…..

Has the cat scattered everything across the floor?

Do you know what you are looking for? ie will you know even you can stop looking? Hope you find everything.

What a splendid tine wastey start to the day. Hope you find it all.

On a related -but completely unhelpful- response, I'm friends with the clever woman who invented bag for life.

She's awesome.
