Is there a way of putting multiple postcodes/addresses on to a map, so I can compare?

I'm in the middle of planning a trip to London. In the dim and distant past I would have got a physical map and drawn points onto it, but I was wondering if there was any way of doing this online? (E.g. google maps). This would help me see which attractions/hotels/theatres/resturants etc were close to each other, so I can decide when to do what and minimise transport times etc.

Just drop some pins in Google maps?

Could you plan a journey on Google maps? You can have a start point, destination and add as many stops as you want in between and it'll map it out for you. You can change any of the stops to different locations and play about. I can't think of another way, other than sourcing and buying an up to date paper map.

Just do it in Google maps. Enter your start point. Add destinations and end point. You can rearrange the bits to make the journey flow.
