Furniture delivery

Looking to buy a couple items fairly large I don't want flat pack! - the 2 retailers I've contacted so far only deliver m-f I work m-f - is there anyone does nice furniture delivers at weekends? I fear I may have to go likes of Argos, but the quality is not as good.

Any tips on this stuff?

If it’s a nice quality piece I wanted I’d probably book a days annual leave, or see if a relative or friend was happy to sit in my house to WFH or something.

Really don't wanna use leave for this tbh think it's ridiculous they don't deliver weekends, lost sale from me and we're talking around £1.5k too, more fool then I think will shop elsewhere.

Could you send a courier or man in a van type service to collect?
