Vinted posting out as a newbie seller

I’ve bought a few bits and bobs from Vinted over a few months and wanted to pop a few bits on to sell . I am an experienced ebayer but haven’t used ebay to sell from for a few years .

with the posting out on Vinted I don’t have a printer so would labels get printed in the shop ? , is it straight forwards or better to use just post office ? ( I only used post office with ebay , less faff ) I’m not sure where I would take parcels to if I used other shipping methods .
am I worrying about shipping when really it’s straight forwards ?

Is there anything I should be aware of before I start , I used to love a bit of ebaying and hoped I would feel the same about Vinted , I’m not expecting to make a fortune but to clear out my extra bits and make some room and pocket money

If you go to profile, and then settings, and then postage, you can choose which postage options you want to offer to people. When you sell, you'll then get the choice of printing your label off yourself, or taking it to the post office for them to print for you x

It’s very simple, you can select to print labels at the shop and then get a QR code to scan and they print you a sticky label for your parcel.

The post office will print labels if the buyer selects Royal Mail or Evri; Yodel labels can be printed at other stores e.g. some Morrison’s etc (you can find your local drop-off store where you can print labels on the couriers’ websites).

I'm in France, so don't know what uk companies print what, but here Vinted Go machines print my labels for me. For Mondial Relay and other places, I have to get DH to print the label at work, which is a nuisance if I sell on a Friday, as he wfh that day so it's Tuesday before I can post.

I find Vinted much easier than Ebay. No worrying about postage. I reuse old packaging and my only expense is an occasional roll of tape.

I have just sold my first things on Vinted this week.
I felt the same about the postage but listing and posting are very easy.

When someone buys something it says the buyer has sent you a postage label.
Then you can choose to print or choose a digital label.
I chose digital and it feels weird at first but you just take your package to the post office open the label on your phone and they scan it and take your parcel.
That's it.
Or you can go to a locker, scan your code and put it in a locker.

It was so easy that I keep looking around the house wondering what else I can sell now 😁

It’s so easy, don’t worry! It’s much easier than selling on eBay from what I remember. I’m addicted to selling on Vinted at the moment.

Update , so I’ve loaded 10 items , sold one straight away and all the rest are ‘favourite’ , might get addicted to this !
Thank you for your help , advice and enthusiasm xx
