Birthday day out for 8 year old ideas

Hi,

My son turns 8 soon and I am looking for ideas for a day out somewhere within 2 hours of Manchester.

He likes theme parks, arcades/games, football laser tag and trampolining etc

I feel like we have exhausted options locally so I wondered if there is anything suitable further a field for a great day out.

We will have his younger sister with us who is 6 so whatever we do needs to be suitable for her too.

Hoo Zoo? They offer different experiences of various lengths, including a VIP Jurassic park experience which looks great. The zoo has a whole dinosaur land which is fab. They also have lots of live feedings and opportunities for kids to feed the animals. Hoo Zoo & Dinosaur World.

No worries! Blackpool Pleasure Beach or Gullivers' Valley are the other suggestions I had if he likes rides.
