Clothes dye ran over my white jeans - help!

I did a (with hindsight) pretty silly thing and I need help to fix it! I had two items of clothes with stains that needed treating - a pair of white denim jeans and an aquamarine cotton playsuit of my daughters. I wet them, sprayed them with stain remover and left them next to each other on the sink. Then I needed to use the sink so without thinking I shoved them to one side, bundled up together. When I picked up my white jeans they were full of aquamarine stains where they were touching the playsuit!
Is there any way to save them? I've liberally resprayed them with the stain remover, figuring that it must dissolve the dye if it caused it to run in the first place, but it doesn't seem to be doing much. I don't have much hope that a simple wash will do much good. Should I try bleaching them? Any other tips?

I'd try and soak them in the white Vanish oxy action powder for a good few hours then wash them on their own in the machine and see how you get on. I find soaking in vanish brilliant for whites

I think you might need to tie dye them!

Incredibly this worked! I was very pessimistic but the blue colour has gone - thank you!

Ha for a while I was also thinking this would be the only acceptable outcome!

I'm very glad they have survived!
