Can you recommend a restaurant in Herne Hill, Camberwell, Brixton, Kennington, Oval, Stockwell sort of area, please?
Criteria are:
It's for 8 adults in the evening, so not a place that has a reputation for child friendliness! 
Not posh, not pricey, not pizza or Indian.
Outdoor seating a big bonus. A pub with a reasonable menu would be OK. Maybe somewhere near the river?
I'm leaning towards the idea of Little Portugal but all and any recommendations gratefully received, thank you!
