Which mumsnetter accidentally dyed their child blue?

I just had a flashback to a thread years ago when the Op dyed her child blue. Does anyone remember it? I thought it was SoupDragon but now I’m not so sure. Any one care to help me out so I can move on to thinking about something else 😁

😄😄 omg, I need to know more!

LizaRadleywasonthespectrum · 20/05/2025 19:56

It was so long ago I can’t even remember the details. It was very funny though.

I think it was Honeydragon, @LizaRadleywasonthespectrum.

She had bathed the baby, then picked them up, wet, for a cuddle, but her blue top wasn’t colourfast so it dyed the baby blue.

She also dropped a blob of Immac onto the baby's head.

It was. I was coming to say this!

Dogaredabomb · 20/05/2025 20:01

🤣 How do you get immac on the baby's head?

Yes yes yes. It was Honeydragon. I remember it now you’ve filled in the details. It was very funny. How long ago must it have been? Thank you so much SDT.

Baby in bathroom while you are immaccing your legs! Was in car seat possibly?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 20/05/2025 21:09

Sadly I can’t remember the details of the Immac Incident. Mea culpa.

I remember when she twatted a spider.
Literally.
😂

It's a real shame the use of 'fanjo' has tailed off. You used to see it all the time. Did it get replaced with yoni?

I blame that Brian from Hull for the rise of yoni.

It actually hurts to remember just how much better mumsnet was back then.

Even the mildly entertaining threads these days have a bot whiff about them.

Dogaredabomb · 21/05/2025 05:47

Yes, it's very samey.

I agree. Wit has been overtaken by offence. I miss it and the posters who made Mumsnet entertaining.

She accidentally rimmed her Labrador once after a mishap tripping over a rug.

There used to be threads which were so funny I'd barely be able to breathe due to laughing so hard. On a regular basis as well. Now I barely muster a smile as the humour has gone.

Those types of threads just couldn't happen now as people would come along and metaphorically piss all over them with their sourpuss ways. It's sad.

Koazy · 21/05/2025 08:37

It was so much funnier and more genuine too. None of the ‘accidental’ typos and shit

amooseymoomum · 21/05/2025 09:09

remember the woman screaming in was it in the Sistine Chapel there was such a lot of brilliant threads but now people seem to argue about all sorts of trivia. it can be hard to find something good to read
