Carers Allowance/Support payment not paid!

I am of course going to contact them when I get a chance, just wondering if anyone else has had this happen in the crossover from DWP to SSS?

I had a letter a couple of months back regarding the bank account my carers allowance is paid into being different to the account to the one DHs ADP is paid to. It said if I didn’t contact them they would pay carers support to the account the ADP goes to. Fine. Then I get another letter to contact them urgently regarding accounts or I won’t get paid. I did this in live chat about 6 weeks ago and confirmed the account and was told all ok. Then yesterday I didn’t get paid anything despite being assured I would be.

Is this likely to take a long time to sort out? Has anyone else had to chase up a payment, how long might this take?

It moves by one week when you change over. I can’t recall why though.

‘The transition from the DWP's Carer's Allowance to Social Security Scotland's Carer Support Payment in Scotland does involve a potential week delay in the first payment. This is due to the differing payment structures of the two systems, where DWP pays for the previous three weeks plus a week in advance, while Social Security Scotland pays for the previous four weeks.’
