Post late diagnosis ADHD and autism

So after years waiting and no previous idea for 58 years I discovered I'm hyper active and impulsive and all my struggles with travel,people, dreadful anxiety are as a result of being neuro divergent.
I've achieved plenty through sheer bloody mindedness I just want to hear how post menopause women coped with a late diagnosis.What happened in your family.?
What I thought was just me or my personality was a neurological difference.

Part of a series.
I found it quite moving.
