Your 1 year olds favourite presents

I posted on here at christmas asking for ideas for my grandsons first Christmas presents and the ideas were fabulous, i bought the hide and squeak eggs, a jungle tails touchy feely book and a light up noisy button pressy toy. They were all a big success

now he is coming up to his first birthday and I thought id ask which were your child's favourite first birthday presents
He is very nearly walking and already has a basic walker that converts to a ride on car.
Also he lives in Canada so i cant buy him anything too expensive to post unless I can get it on Amazon as i can order direct from Amazon Canada
Ideas please

Pull along wooden caterpillar - we take it for walks and it stops DD getting distracted by every leaf, twig and daisy

Books. Ones with lots of details in like the 1000 first words

Lady bird fleece. She pulls it off the clothes horse, wears it all the time, always pointing to the ladybirds.

Etchasketch magnetic drawing board things. She loves scribbling on it and it keeps her entertained while I cook dinner!

Fruit and veg wooden puzzle off Amazon. She loves it. Feeds the vegetables to her teddies etc.

I bought a little bucket (with bugs on) and some kids garden tools which is great for the sandpit of on the garden.

Little bowls and scoops (DD’s were inspired my play, but you can get them from loads of stockists)
Bath coffee machine (Tomy bath barista) was a HUGE hit, as was a bath bubble machine but this didn’t last as long

the “don’t tickle the…” range of books

Potentially tricky to order but my little girl turned 1 last month and her absolute favourite things right now are:

• swing and slide in the garden
• soft play set
• ball pit
• wooden kitchen
• wooden food/cutlery/plates
• books, especially the “thats not my…” books
• baby dolls- obsessed right now and pushes her baby pram around like its her full time job
