Treat meal near Hampton court place

Meeting a friend at Hampton court palace and would be nice to have a treat meal afterwards. Happy to walk for a bit so along the river or through bushy park. We like Persian, Lebanese or Japanese….but open to anything really.

This place used to be great - not been for a few years but the food was always delicious and lovely Lebanese wine too. I'd recommend booking if you want to go, they were always really popular:

You could have a lovely walk through Bushy Park, along the Thames and end up at Petersham Nurseries. Though it’s 4 miles so depends what you’re feeling up to!

The Lebanese mentioned is great and the swan is a really nice pub.

The mitre hotel has a great restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Thames or there's one a few doors up - the swan I think?

Mezzet is indeed great. Otherwise, the Mute Swan

the Mitre is beautifully situated on the river, but much more expensive. Afternoon tea there is good , as an alternative to lunch

Vai's Kitchen, Indian cuisine. The food is amazing. Toilets a bit outdated, but the actual food, zero complaints. It's on the main little strip in Hampton Court Village.
