I felt like this at first! But it's really a total logic game and it can take me ages if I come back to it a few times during the day and test out all the possible combinations. It's not like Wordle where I can rattle it off, and once I realised I'd have to work it through like that every time, I started getting it.

I don't generally have the time or the inclination to spend a lot of time on Hardle. Sometimes I manage to work it out, and often I don't. It's the challenge that keeps me coming back 😁

Please don’t give up Lemonsugarpancake! It is,as Philthefridge says, a game of logic and systematically working through the options. I find the best approach is to put two or three words in with no letters in common as a baseline before I start working it out. If you’re lucky you might get five blanks which can then be ruled out with certainty. It might help to look up which letters are used most often in the English language and draw your baseline words from them to increase probability.

This is what I do, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I often make incorrect assumptions and then I am sunk. The worst thing is when you get it on guess 9 or 10, after carefully eliminating and working out, only for it to tell you that you must try 'hardler'!
