13 year old wants acrylic nails

Just that really, she is begging to get them done. I told her when she is 16 but won’t let go. She is driving me mad.
We live overseas, so I can’t even argue it is against school uniform policy.
what age do you think is reasonable?

I dislike them as well but my then 14 year old wouldn’t give up asking. I agreed over summer holidays but they had to come off for school. She has had them done at other points in the year but the novelty has largely worn off and she’s back painting her own nails.
