A few hours in London

I have a job interview on Wednesday in Westminster area at 12pm. I’ll be arriving into Euston station at 9ish so will have a few hours to kill. Any ideas for a route I can take where I can stop somewhere nice for coffee/breakfast, read through my notes and just hang out for a bit? Don’t mind getting tube or walking (but equally don’t want to turn up a sweaty mess!) Ideas much appreciated.

I’d walk over to King’s Cross and go to Coal Drops Yard for a coffee/breakfast. Tons of good places there. The weather should be plenty nice enough go sit outside.

Then get the Piccadilly line from King’s Cross to Green Park and stroll through Green Park and St James’ Park to Westminster. There’s a nice cafe and public toilets (if required for a last minute freshen up) in St James’ Park.

It’d only take 1 hour to walk from Euston to Westminster so you have plenty of time.

I’d get the tube from Euston down to Waterloo and hang out in the Royal Festival Hall. It’s generally possible to find somewhere quiet to sit and read your notes. It has good WiFi and places to plug a laptop in if needs be. Short walk along the river and over a bridge and you’re in Westminster.

the wellcome centre at Euston has a lovely cafe. Or breakfast in coals drop yard (dishoom breakfast is fab). I think I’d want to get nearer Westminster though . Then I’d walk along the river, south bank , toawards labeth and there is a coffee shop on the river.https://www.markpack.org.uk/171429/cafe-with-a-view-18-riverside-cafe-lambeth/
