Interviewed Tuesday, No Response Yet — Should I Reach Out About a Second Job Opening?

I interviewed with a company on Tuesday and they said they would get back to me by the end of the week (today) but i have had no word from them.

They have another position advertised as well that I would be interested in. Not as much as the other job but it still matches my skill set as I have done it before.

Is it rude to contact the lady in hr that I spoke to to set up the first interview to express my interest in it as well and explain how it would also fit my skill set?

You don’t need to speak to HR. Just apply if you want to. But maybe wait until near the closing deadline in case you get the other one. You don’t want to appear as though you don’t care about the first one.

I'd apply ASAP. Very often roles are filled simply when they find the right candidate, rather than filtering through hundreds after the closing date.
