Simple factual books about periods

Hi everyone. My dd is 8 but looks like puberty is starting. We talk about lots of things but I would really appreciate it if anyone could reccomend a simple book about periods. A visual one would be great. The only things I can fond are books aimed at more like 12-13 year olds including crushes etc which although we talk about isn't what we need in a book! My dd is quite possibly neurodiverse and understands things better if she can look at them over and over again without pages of text.
Any help would be much appreciated.

"Have you started yet?" by Ruth Thomson.

This is a good one. Not too teenagery. Plenty of secondhand copies out there.

The Usborne ‘What’s Happening to Me?’ book covers all things puberty and periods. My daughter found it useful.

I second that.
Very straightforward and child friendly. I got it for DD when she was about 7 or 8 and she found it helpful.

try checking out the We are luna app for her - it has tween/teen period friendly content by experts (but you don't need to have started your period to use it)

Milli Hill My Period is really good. I think I had the Ruth Thomson one as a child!
