3 and 7 the best age?

DCs are 3 and 7 at the moment and I feel like we are in a golden era!

The 7 year old was a bit tricky between 3 and 6 and has now emotionally matured. He's much more relaxed, he is hilarious and kind. He's more grown up but still has the excitement and innocence of a young child.

The 3 year old has always been easy going and even though now she's a bit more strong minded, she makes us laugh so much, her speech is great so we can have in-depth conversations. She always seems to know how people feel and knows when they need a kind word or cuddle to feel better.

They also love playing with each other at the moment, they have so much fun and can giggle uncontrollably. They say they are each other's best friends and give each other spontaneous cuddles.

Life is pretty tough at the moment but on that front, I feel the luckiest in the world!

What was your favourite phase with your children?
