Is my 4-year-old DD tall?

I measured my almost 4.5 yo DD the other day and she’s 112cm. People keep saying she’s very tall but to me she looks pretty much the same height as similar aged kids at her nursery, although maybe I’m not looking closely enough. Just wondering what height your 4.5 yos are/were?

What does the chart in the back of her red book say?

She’s about the same as my DD who is on 91st centile for height. So yes, taller than average but still within the range of normal.

Yep same as my 90th centile 4.5 year old daughter (born in October)

My 4 yr old DGS is 94cm ..if we are generous... so it sounds tall to me (he is very short) but one of his little (girl) friends at preschool is only just 4 and also 112cm. Some kids are tall !

My DS will be 6 in the summer and he’s about that height. He’s pretty average for his class so yes, I think your DD is tall.
