What’s going on here? Reaction to hysteroscopy

I had a hysteroscopy on Monday afternoon. It was the third one I have had. Tolerated the previous two ok but this one has floored me. The procedure was painful but I coped ok. When I got up I had a mini collapse; fainted and vomited. I have not felt myself since. Sleeping a lot, a bit dizzy, just weak. The pain and bleeding have settled this morning but I feel so rough. Is it the shock of the procedure?

I’m always like this, usually due to blood pressure dropping. I’m usually ok after a couple of days though so hopefully you should be too. Contact your doctor if not. I’ve had two in the last year, reacted so badly the third was under a general anaesthetic and I’ve got another one coming up, without a general, that I’m not looking forward to.
Take time to rest and get plenty of fluids.

Thank you - I am. Really shocked at how it’s made me feel. Starting to feel a bit better.
