Lockdown celebration!
Sitting on garden chairs at the end of our drives chatting across the road to neighbours at a large distance and drinking wine. It was such a lovely day and relieved some feelings of isolation. The weather was fantastic!
Anyone else remember?

We had our family tea party in the garden with scones, Victoria Sponge and strawberries.

I played the WWII Cd music I've got (bought it for a WWII play I was sorting).
Ds then found the sound effects (also for the WWII) play on my phone and set the air raid siren off. We were edified to hear our neighbour inform her husband that the air raid sirens had been commanded to go off at (whatever time it was) and everyone should stand as a mark of respect until the All Clear sounded. Cue me desperately going through my phone to find the All Clear, which for some reason had got into the wrong folder, while the dc tried to keep the laughter inaudible.

We then walked round the estate and spoke to all the people who were partying in their front gardens.

Brilliant! Particularly searching for the all clear.
We decorated our campervan on the drive with flags and bunting then cooked dinner in there and stayed overnight. We felt as if we had been on holiday!
