Small changes in some everyday food products due to COL?

Just bought a jar of Bonne Maman strawberry jam, but it seems to look and taste different. Is it me, or has anyone else noticed?

Colour is slightly more pinkish than before.
Texture is runnier.
Not as nice a taste.

I've noticed a few things tasting like the recipe or ingredients have changed slightly, and not for the better - I presumed to make them a little cheaper to make while retail price stayed the same, a bit like shrinkflation.

Am I alone in this?

I agree! Also peanut butter tastes revolting now, they’ve deffo done something to it, I’ve tried a few different brands but they are all revolting. I don’t know what’s going on.

Charlie Bingham meals have gone right downhill. Really really small protein amounts, like 14% in a spaghetti carbonara.

KFC changed rice box to salad box so no rice or kidney beans

Subway have watered down their tuna mayonnaise - it's fucking vile.

Macdonalds have watered down their Frappes - again fucking vile.

They do this, then put the prices up.

I honestly can't think of a product that hasn't changed in the last year or two.
As mentioned by PPs, I find sauces and spreads that used to be thick are now thin, formerly good tasting foods now have too much salt as if to cover for the lack of flavour, and salad creams and dressings!
First they tried to water them down and I think there must have been pushback from customers because now companies have added more xanthan gum and it's so thick you can hardly squeeze it out.
Needless to say it doesn't taste anywhere near as good as it used to.
Some spicy crisps have lost much of their flavour and vinegar has been added instead to compensate and if you're sensitive to it, the added vinegar burns your tongue.
Shrinkflation has taken care of other products giving you less for more.
