Extreme anxiety pre period help

Does anybody else suffer with crippling anxiety before their period? Mine is the final
week before my period and then the last day of 2 of my cycle it is literally crippling and I am absolutely exhausted it’s a literal feeling in my chest. I thought I just had bad anxiety flares randomly however after tracking it the pattern is a week before my period with the last 2 days being awful everytime. I wondered if any else experience this? What is your experience and what have you found has helped? ( I’ve been on anti depressants in the past when I had PND 3+ years ago and want to try and avoid them if possible as the weight gain was ridiculous in a short amount of time)

I think knowing what it is helps a lot. When it creeps up you can rationalise to yourself that it's simply a hormonal symptom that will go in a few days. Don't let it set in to your headspace. I suppose treating it as a mind over matter thing, meditating out of it. That's worked pretty well for me.

I have been like this the past few years, roughly since I turned 30!

I track my cycle and it is pretty regular but every month I get so anxious the week prior that I can barely function (poor sleep, irritable, worried I’m going to get fired for absolutely no reason etc). Even looking at my cycle tracker and trying to rationalise it away doesn’t help. I find that months where I eat really well, drink less and exercise regularly (running, some weights, yoga, hiit) it doesn’t tend to be as bad.
