and who is cooking?

We are salmon, new potatoes and greens from a recipe DH saw in the Waitrose newspaper thing a while ago. He's cooking and it seems appropriate for the season, but also nice and warming as the temperature has plummeted!

Yes @Beautifulsunflowers it's good to get other ideas for menu planning.

Ham, roasties, stir fry veg. Leftovers from yesterday, so nobody cooked.

Late home from work, tucking in to homemade burgers and wedges made by my teenager, cooked by my husband.

Quiche with pears, honey, Gorgonzola, Brie, nutmeg & walnuts. Potato salad and a rocket salad on the side 😊

I've made pasta with chorizo, aubergine, tomato and olives.

Jarred sauce and spaghetti

But I'm not doing a homemade pud!

Ground turkey chili with black beans and corn and half a jar of spicy salsa added to the tomato based sauce.

Cold and tired from a hefty day in the garden so we had a massive gnocchi oven bake, also with a Mutti tomato sauce, perked up with a pack of olives and feta that needed using up. Mr Toast added fried pancetta.
Afters was a lovely cup of tea and a chocolate chunk cookie.

Tonight was a tiny celebration tea so we had pizza, garlic bread, potato skins & Greek salad courtesy of Sainsburys. Followed by either cheesecake or a GU cake pot.

Tomorrow is roasted chicken thighs with salad of roast asparagus, feta, almonds & sourdough croutons.
