Did you have a really good holiday over the Easter break that cost £2k or less?

If you did, please tell me about it!
I need some inspiration for a budget break for next year - this country or abroad.

Cyprus! Paphos
We love it there and it’s so reasonable to holiday there.

It was beautiful in the day 24/26 max in the sun
the evenings were chilly once the sun went down
the sea was cold because of the time of year

We went to Krakow in Poland. Flights and air B&B cost approx £1000 plus £1000 spending money for food, drinks and activities. We went to thermal
baths approx 1.15 min away. Really good value - 4 hrs for family of 4 was £45. The city was pretty. Lots of cultural things and a great Castle in the city centre.

I took my kids to a Eurocamp in the Netherlands. It was lovely, hired bicycles, went to a theme park, & a few days out. Pool, waterslides, play areas. Weather was lovely too, sunny & low 20’s with one day of rain. I booked last year, £268 for 8 nights accommodation, drove over on the tunnel, £189, plus fuel. £300 on trips etc & self catered with a takeaway, ice cream daily & lunch out a couple of times. Was a bargain too. Food shop was same as home which I would spent anyway. Kids loved it, we’re going to go back next year.

Yes! Just got back from Rixos Premium Tekirova in Turkey, luxury all-inclusive hotel, weather is usually decent at end of April and we had beautiful weather while we were there, about 23-25 and warm. The resort is near Kemer and Antalya. Was just over 2k for two of us for 10 days. There were nice extras like roller skating poolside waiters to bring you drinks, fitness classes inc. early morning yoga overlooking the private beach area, minibar drinks and snacks in the room replaced daily. Lots of activities and evening entertainment if you like that sort of thing, we just relaxed mostly. The food was delicious and there are several a la carte restaurants you can go to free of charge during your stay. Cocktails were lovely and included better options like mojitos, frozen mango margaritas and daquiris. Would really recommend it. It also has its own water park and a great kid's club.

We spent £400 on a caravan in Norfolk. (A "nice" one, 3 bedrooms, it slept 8, but there were only 4 of us, and my kids liked their own bedrooms)

We had 4 days of quality family time and made great memories.

We visited Sandringham house, an NT place, did a boat trip to see seals, went crabbing, did some nice walks, sat on the beach (with our coats on) for a bit, flew a kite, played 2p machines, had fish n chips on the beach, and donuts... played card games in the evenings.

If we had longer there would have been lots more do, that we couldnt fit into the time we had. We didnt even use the pool, or the other activites that were on the site as we were exploring the area instead.

In the past we have had a nice cheap and cheerful breaks on the isle of wight (tonnes to do), Llandudno and Stratford upon avon.
