What is this on my mouth and head ?

Not wonderful photos but what is the brown patches around my mouth and head ? Seem to pop up more in summer ! At first it was forehead but now its above my lip I’m worried a what it is and b what can I do? I’m really self conscious of it now !

Could be melasma, which is very common.

Melasma can be treated and prevented from getting worse. Laser to treat not cheap and takes time and you need a spf 50 every single day winter and summer and a tyrosinase inhibitor cream to help prevent it.

Daily vitamin c serum helps. Will need consistent long-term use but will lighten it.

Melasma. I always get this when I’m pregnant, but you can also get it when on the pill. Other medications can make it more likely too

Thank you! There was me panicking about skin cancer ! Doctor told it’s because I’m aging ! I’m 37 ! I’m also pregnant so could be a pregnancy thing maybe ?! Can I use spf whilst pregnant ? Thank you for replies feel so much better now ! Xx
