Bra for fat, small boobs, apple shaped middle aged woman

Please please gentlemen try and control yourselves

Do NOT mention Boob or Bust which used to be the MN go to. I can only assume it's for size 6 triple J women... that is not me.

I am a size 24. I have lost a bit of weight recently, but I'm roughly a 44B * and I've BF multiple children.

I want something that goes up to that size, doesn't leave loads of back/side flab and is supportive and makes everything look normal.. ish and has extra thick shoulder straps.

But not a sports bra.

To make things slightly more awkward I'm 5 '9 and have a long torso, so wider bands aren't even that wide on me.

So if anyone has remotely comparable proportions I would love to hear what they're using PLEASE.

  • I'll of course try on similar sizes when I get something new, but that's a rough guide.

What do you measure under boob?
I am a 22/24 on top and wear a 36GG.
A B cup means only 2 inches difference between under and over bust measurements. Is that likely in your case?

I feel your pain and have no suggestions. I seem to need a 42/44 A or B nursing bra, but nowhere stocks those sizes! I was a swimmer before pregnancy so wide shoulders and ate a bit too much cake over the 9 months. BoB measurements say 38F, but the bands barely made it past my armpits and I could have stored my entire nappy bag in the spare room in the cups! Some people do just have wide backs with widely spaces small breast

Hi OP! I’m a 44C sometimes a B and I’ve only found one bra so I just keep buying them in different colours. They’ve changed the name recently but it’s this bra from Marks and Spencer.

I’ve lost some weight too and if I can get to a 42 back I’ll have more choice but till then… I’m shorter than you but need the coverage underarms and on the back and find it ok. No good being squeezed into a smaller band for the sake of it. Everything else has to go somewhere!

I’d also second this Amelia bra from m and s - I was a 44 D until recently and this fits and is supportive

I think I've found the solution!!! Bon Prix are cheap and do 44B. A friend who needs mega cup sizes recommended them for nursing bras. I'm about to order everything
