There's absolutely no decent summer clothes available online?

I'm going on a last minute holiday in May and since I've lost weight, I've realised I urgently need some dresses and linen trousers that will fit me and there is absolutely nothing - I mean nothing on ASOS, M&S, H&M etc. It's either all sleeveless plain dresses, waistcoat tops or bandeaus!?

There ARE. Mind your grammar!

I was in H&M yesterday and they had loads of summer clothes. Maybe you need to go into stores rather than shop online if you have time.

White Stuff might be worth a look if you haven’t already. Enjoy your holiday! 😎

Zara is lovely this year.

IsItWickedNotToCare · 02/05/2025 06:26

Vinted is your friend

Disappointeddotcom · 02/05/2025 06:34

I’ve bought some nice holiday bits from Next and Tesco recently

Boopear · 02/05/2025 06:35

Yes, Vinted. More summer clothes than you can shake a stick at.

I have been looking for some patterned trousers ...they are all wide legs .
The only slim leg patterned ones I;ve seen are jeans in Next (I don't want jeans)

Seems that wide leg/ fitted tops are The Look Hmm

Gundogday · 02/05/2025 06:52

Seen loads of nice dresses and linen trousers in Mango, Next , Apricot, Nobody's Child , M and s etc.

Rosecoffeecup · 02/05/2025 07:00

Blimey I must be imagining all these linen trousers at H&M

It is a look but I found some like the ones you describe in FatFace online - have a look at their cuffed joggers.

RampantIvy · 02/05/2025 07:04

Uniqlo?

hellswelshy · 02/05/2025 07:06

There's lots out there, just have to search I think - have you tried Next, they've normally got a good selection for summer - great basics. New Look? Zara?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/05/2025 07:07

H&M usually have linen shirts. And Next can be decent for little cotton tops. Arket or Marks usually good for shorts. Cotton dresses / try Zara but the website is a bastard.

I got some lovely wide leg linen trousers from M&S the other day.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/05/2025 18:29

I bought a couple of pairs of M&S trousers - linen mix and lycocel rich - which are nice but plain.

Search on H&M showed up some patterned textured.hopefully straight-ish leg trousers so I ordered them.

My DD got a pair from Pull and Bear which are nice , straight leg .loose fit .
She finds buying trousers difficult as she's tall , slim and leggy ( I know , feel sorry for her Wink ) she's not a M&S fan but gets work trousers there as they do Extra Long

I'm used to H&M that are full to capacity , the Oxford Street one feels half empty and a bit nothing here .

I prefer in-store there rather than online , I can find the odd gem.

Tulipsontoast · 04/05/2025 18:32

zara has some gorgeous bits.

Darksideofmercury · 04/05/2025 18:33

There are gazillions of dresses everywhere......

moveoveralice · 04/05/2025 18:36

...there is absolutely nothing.. IS correct.

Mind YOUR grammar.
