Would you say it’s ok for a nearly 6m old…

To sleep on their side?

LG can roll back to front confidently, and from her back onto one side and back. She can’t roll front to back.

I put her down on her back in her cot and within seconds she turns herself on her side to sleep, up against the cot bars. I try and persuade her back to her back, but she stirs, then lifts her legs up and rolls to be on her side again. Will this be ok? I’m worried that she won’t stay on her back (particularly because she can’t roll both ways) but I don’t think she wants to be on her tummy, just her side, and she can roll back from her side I believe if she wanted to.

Otherwise, there’s nothing extra in her cot just the mattress and fitted sheet. She wears a sleeping bag too.

Sorry if garbled, tired mama!

Mine slept on their sides from the beginning! It was the only way they would sleep

The guidance is put them on their back to sleep but once they can roll, you can’t really stop them.
