Schools near Oxford - AuDHD and currently behind

I’m looking for advice. My child (8) has been diagnosed with both Autism and ADHD. She’s currently behind at school - by almost a year in Maths, and it’s variable for English - she’s an amazing reader but can’t spell (is 2 years behind), finds writing difficult, is at least a year behind for grammar.

But all the testing shows she’s actually very bright. It her own brain is getting in her way.

Medication is not currently an option.

I’m trying to work out how to bridge the gap before it becomes a yawning chasm. She already has an hour tutoring a week.

I’m wondering if there are any primary level schools in the area that are able to handle a highly sensory AuDHD kid and get them back to ‘grade level’ as the Americans say. Or if anyone else has achieves the desired outcome!

Any recommendations welcome.

I moved my DD from state to private in year 3 for this reason - we are an hour away from Oxford but she’s thriving with small classes and individual attention from teachers who have read her reports and understand her needs. Is going private an option?

It is an option. Part of me doesn’t want to - since her current state school
is lovely/supportive/etc. But we need to recover the lost learning somehow.
