just wanted to get opinions really. Colleague of mine (only met about 9 months ago but became close as friends) just had a baby. I bought her baby a gender neutral blanket as she didn’t know the sex. Anyway, baby is now here and she has suggested meeting for lunch in a couple of weeks to chat and meet new baby. I was going to buy a little gift for baby now he is here and say congrats but wasn’t sure if that comes across too much as I already gave before she went on mat leave?
