Frequently, I will say or hear a phrase and a song will pop into my mind (and sometimes out of my mouth). The latest was just now.. DH said 'we'll do it one step at a time' and immediately I heard the gospel hymn 'one day at a time, sweet Jesus'.
Yesterday we were talking about something being tasty and immediately I heard the advertising jingle 'They're tasty, tasty, very very tasty' in my mind. For those who are nowhere near as old as we are, that was the jingle for Bran Flakes (which are definitely NOT tasty) many many years ago.
Tell me I'm not the only one? (Now another song has popped into my head and I'm going to have to find out is is and who sang it)
