It’s being reported that Virginia Roberts Giuffre has died by suicide.

I hope Prince Andrew’s shady supporters won’t try to make hay from this. They’ve been revolting recently about her evident trauma.

Maybe she finally has some peace. She did heroically well to get a civil judgment, at least, against one of the perpetrators.

Her family’s statement about her is perfect. I hope the obituaries fully give her her due tomorrow.

There have been indications recently that she was spiralling. Everything that happened to her when she was young was awful. It’s a lot of trauma to carry around.

How would this bring peace to her family? Losing someone to suicide is horrible.

The royal family have people in Australia.... Everywhere actually.

This is terrible but I wouldn't be so sure it was a self inflicted suicide, she was a strong woman on her way to recovery.

Oh no really shocking. Poor lady. She seemed to fight for so long for justice. How terribly sad.

Her marriage broke up recently and she was clearly distressed about that. Then she was hit by a bus. The poor woman. May she rest in peace.

We need to remember the trauma she endured and not allow any further exploitation of her story, no matter how much Prince Andrew's team tries to spin it. This situation needs sensitive handling.

Yes it was, which makes this all the more disturbing.

That turned out to be inaccurate. But she has clearly been in distress and experienced a recent marriage breakdown on top of the RTA.

Yes it is, however the papers recently reported that she was not able to see her children and was estranged from them and their father.

whatever happened to cause this situation, would have been extremely unpleasant for all concerned and their lives turned upside down.
