It’s being reported that Virginia Roberts Giuffre has died by suicide.

I hope Prince Andrew’s shady supporters won’t try to make hay from this. They’ve been revolting recently about her evident trauma.

He’s already well and truly back in the door - the king clearly doesn’t care less about what he’s done as he’s been fully accepted back into appearing at church services etc. Lovely guy 🙄

I agree. Seeing them all at the Easter service was a sleaze fest, top to bottom.

It's shocking that he is oozing his way back into the public gaze in this way and I'm shocked at C and C not realising that having them all in the same frame is lowering the tone to the pits.

She had just gone through a public mental health crisis

Perfect timing to off her then. Sorry, it’s just very convenient isn’t it,

Thanks for the clarification

I’m so disappointed jn the queen
I really didn’t think she’d do that
I really thought she would put the monarchy and the country and truth first

now thats her legacy

time for Charles to move on and start a fresh with wills and kate
they will be fresh blood free from scandal

none wants a side chick Camilla as queen
or cheating Charles as king

it badly needs a new start and I think William and Kate are just what the monarchy need

Didn’t William have his own cheating scandal that got squashed quickly anyways?

Lady Victoria Hervey is a heartless human being . She has commented on this death by stating that ‘when your lies catch up with you there is no way out’
I always thought that VH was a pointless waste of space . What a cruel woman

She genuinely thinks she stands another chance with Prince Andrew if she sucks up enough to him publicly, she’s is an absolute loser.

Lovelysausagedogscrumpy · 26/04/2025 07:22

@hhtddbkoygv. She self reported the RTA on instagram and said she only had three days or so to live because of resulting renal failure. She posted photos of herself in hospital with what were seemingly superficial injuries which had been digitally enhanced. The local police then disputed the severity of the crash and it was confirmed her injuries weren’t life threatening. There was a horrible thread on MN which speculated on her reasons for the instagram post, criticised the photos and generally made fun of her.

IDK whether to view it as an old lady being lied to and pressured by her nasty perverted son (and the media), or more that she was herself cynical and hardened and prepared to buy an end to the publicity. It was reported that he had repeatedly sworn to her that he was innocent. Who knows what she knew or understood? It is hard to believe that she believed him, but old ladies are often completely blind about the doings of their nasty sons.

I would very much like to know what the palace courtiers advised and their reasoning. All very murky.

@NeelyOHara
What do you mean by ‘offed’? The Australian police have made it clear that there are no suspicious circumstances. You seem to be implying that she was murdered which is a horrible suggestion for her family. If you think you know something which the Australian police don’t know I suggest you inform the authorities.

Inkanta · 26/04/2025 07:24

There’s obviously more going on with VG’s life and thus her husband had to take steps to protect their children

We don't know the circumstances or what kind of a man her husband was.

bigvig · 26/04/2025 07:28

It's incredibly suspicious - obviously it's all incredibly suspicious. I hope she's finally at peace.

Tatemoderndrawyourown · 26/04/2025 07:29

Tubs11 · 26/04/2025 06:02

Quite the opposite really. Years and years of hell and utter sadness. Be careful with flippant comments like this.

When my father, who was a deeply troubled man, died suddenly, I felt so much relief. Not peace, perhaps that op used the wrong word, but relief yes. So so much relief. Trauma works both ways. He had survived a lot of trauma but his life and action had caused my mental health to deteriorate. Have you experienced that? ‘Flippant’ might really not be the right way of describing what she said. Even now, 20 plus years later, it was the best thing that could have happened to me, given the circumstances. We absolutely do not know what they are and will be thinking.

Bingbopboomboomboombopbam · 26/04/2025 07:29

I wouldn’t be surprised she grew increasingly paranoid, rightfully or not. I remember in the documentary her and her sister mentioning feeling paranoid and having to move back when they left that “retreat”.

SipandClean · 26/04/2025 07:33

SpidersAreShitheads · 26/04/2025 03:44

No, she wasn’t.

There was a very minor incident where a car she was in clipped a bus bumper but didn’t cause any damage. Virginia then posted a photo of herself, allegedly in hospital, saying basically that a bus had ploughed into her and she had 4 days left to live. Lots of indications to suggest the photo had been heavily doctored and independent facts didn’t seem to back up her version of events.

In her post, she said she was ready to die but wanted to see her children one last time.

No one knows what that whole bus episode was about - and there was lots of backtracking/changing the story attempted afterwards when she was very patently not in the critical state she claimed - but at the time, it did feel like a desperate attempt to get her kids to see her.

She was estranged from her kids, and there was a restraining order in place preventing her from contacting her husband.

No idea what’s been going on in her life tbh, but it certainly seems that she was a troubled soul, with her problems just spiralling.

Absolutely not saying any of this to be malicious, but I think it’s important to be clearheaded, and not ignore uncomfortable truths just because of a tragedy. And it is such a tragedy - it seems that she never found peace or happiness. Really bloody sad.

Very well put. The face that she hadn’t been allowed to see her children suggests there is a lot more to this story. The family have released a statement putting the blame heavily on her being trafficked but to be honest they don’t seem entirely innocent in this. Her earlier post about not having long to live was clearly a cry for help.

Wakemeupbe4yougogo · 26/04/2025 07:39

What I don't understand is how her parents let her get trafficked. I can't imagine what this poor woman endured in her lifetime at the hands of men. May she finally rest in peace.

IIRC she was put into care at some point and she ended up being cared for by a man who pimped her out. She then ended up back with her father who got her the job as a pool girl at Epstein’s mansion, where she caught the eye of Ghislaine at the age of about 14/15 and the rest sadly is as we know it. Ghislaine encouraged her to become a masseuse and she was paid to massage Epstein and his friends.

ThePoshUns · 26/04/2025 07:44

I don’t think her parents properly parented her, if at all.

The malign influence of powerful, richentitled men and as she was the most prominent of their victims she must have faced intolerable ongoing pressures - her paranoia would have been real and not without grounds.

MidnightScroller · 26/04/2025 07:49

i don’t think it’s right to start finger pointing at the family “they don’t seem entirely innocent in this” - who in the world is “entirely innocent” other than children, especially if you’ve had an unstable start in life?
VG was a warrior who survived a host of hellish experiences for as long as she could, using so much of her strength to fight for justice and support other SA and trafficking victims. She was clearly not a stable, perfect mother and her husband was trying to protect their children. The children might not have seen her posts for all we know and the husband/family may have been trying to block her to find peace - maybe they didn’t realise she was in this much of a bad place if this is how she’s been to them before.
it’s still a grieving family even if they missed a chance to reconcile - leave people alone rather than stirring and spreading conspiracy BS. Life is so tough these days when everyone’s able to post thoughtless shite publicly for the world to fester over - it’s no wonder we’re in the shower of shit we’re in today.
RIP Virginia and thankyou for your inspiring work Flowers

Yes I’d like to know what the palace advised too

MidnightScroller · 26/04/2025 07:58

PS I meant to say not one news site has really gone into her life and her achievements exposing these crimes - there is so much more I wanted to reread that she’d brought to light about Andrew/Epstein and Ghislaine. In the context of dozens of fawning articles over the Pope, who had a dodgy past relating to the thousands of “disappeared”s in Argentina, I really wanted to read again about the ridiculous Andrew claims about pizza express and sweating etc - have the media been told not to reprint this? Along with Charles letting him attend family church services it basically stinks - she should be feted for her work and that snake should remain under a rock for the rest of his charmed undeserved tax payer funded scrounging life.

ThePoshUns · 26/04/2025 08:03

I am glad to hear that on Times radio they are mentioning her accusations against Andrew in announcing her death. Never let him off the hook. She might have been over the age of consent here but she had been trafficked and abused for years before that by powerful men and he was part of that scene. He settled because he didn’t want his sordid life being discussed in open court.

QuiteUnbelievable · 26/04/2025 08:07

This is why sentences and punishment for abuse need to be higher because often victims carry the trauma for life

How would this bring peace to her family? Losing someone to suicide is horrible.

Yes, to suicide is so leave a lasting horrid cloud over one's children. It is so selfish. Virginia apologised a couple of weeks ago for not telling the truth about injuries sustained in a car accident...supposedly to be seen by her family.
She was separated from her daughters and husband. It has not been reported as to why.
She was mistreated by Epstein, she was mistreated by her father who drove her to work for Epstein, she became a recruter of girls for Epstein.
She got her story wrong about some men.
She settled out of court for money quickly with PA.
Her life as a young woman was far from ideal.
We will never know why she committed suicide.
I hope her girls are not left thinking they were in any way to blame.

BlondeFool · 26/04/2025 08:07

Lady Victoria Hervey’s instagram posts are disguising. Virginia had kids and a family. Absolutely tragic.
