Can't wee in my own house (lighthearted)

We are currently refurbing bits of the house and moving rooms around. It's chaos. Every single room affected or has crap ikea flat pack piled high.

Then the cleaner arrived 😬

I need a wee. We have 3 loos.

Ground floor has builders tools piled up against it and is impossible to access.

1st floor is locked shut and full (of lovely but I wouldn't want wee in front of them, builders) as they are taking our the window.

The loft loo has our lovely cleaner busy in there as it's the only room clear enough to clean.

I'm Seriously considering asking one of the neighbours 😂😂

Anyone else in building /refurbishment chaos and want to share their stories?

Just tell your cleaner you use to use the toilet.

Just tell your cleaner you need a wee and will only be a minute.

I resorted to a camping toilet when I had the bathroom refurbished as we only had one toilet. I think bathroom disruption for me is the worst.

We used to have an outside toilet and I was never more grateful when we were renovating our house! Alas it is now a summerhouse so I would call on the neighbours if I were you.

Tell your cleaner you need to use your own toilet to have a wee.

This is one of those threads that will get the piss taken out of on other forums with MNetters apparently not able to make a simple decision without asking MN first.

Yeah I think bathroom refurbs are the worst in terms of inconvenience.

I resorted to going swimming so I could have a decent shower when we did our bathroom. Quick wee's had to coincide with a trip to tescos. LOL

We had builders in and a builders loo on the drive but rather than use that, I resorted to a camping loo in the loft !

Sympathies! We had someone tiling our bathroom (small house, one loo) and i needed a poo. I ended up going to the local tesco to use theirs. I think for a wee i might have said I just need to nip in there.

Seriously dude, ask the cleaner if you can pop in for a minute.

I think the OP meant this as lighthearted thread where people can share stories of house renovation chaos not an actual life dilemma because she cannot decide where to pee.

But inevitably @HazelKoala has spectacularly missed the point 🙄 as I am a grown-assed woman who clearly can solve problems much more complex than this.

In the end I held on until the cleaner had finished (have been doing those brilliant vids by femalephysioco in insta so now have pelvic floor of steel 😆 )

Have now got free access to all 3 loos and have been alternating between each, because I can. Bloody luxury !

Bit of a digression - but we had our lovely neighbour knock on our door last Sunday (Easter Sunday) to say that his one and only loo had developed a leak and could he and his adult daughter use our downstairs loo please. Of course we said yes - our downstairs loo is just off the porch and doesn't need access to any of the rest of the house which made it easier, but what a dilemma to be in! They didn't manage to get a plumber until Monday afternoon, so it was definitely more than a single wee visit.

If you have a nice neighbour then I would definitely ask them. Maybe take the opportunity for coffee and a chat as well!

Yes, she literally began with "Lighthearted"! Then loads of posters act as though she's literally unable to think of a solution 🙄

In that situation I would either tell the cleaner you need your bathroom
do a quick run to the nearest supermarket
ask the neighbours
go to a coffee shop for a drink wee and peace

The worst is when you need a poo and there are lots of builders in. And the nearest McDonald's is quite a drive...

For a pee I just find a secluded area of the garden 😂
