Just made miso soup with the paste sachet, bit of frozen ginger, prawns mushroom and pak choi. I've made it before and don't remember this cloudy curdled look to it! Think it's okay to eat or is it out to kill me?

I eat most things, and don't bother much with Bb dates etc, but I'm not sure I'd eat that

That's completely normal - miso paste separates in boiling water. Looks absolutely fine.

Looks delicious and nutritious too - shame to waste it

Yes! Real miso soup often has a cloudy appearance.

AmateurNoun · 23/04/2025 21:35

Yes, it looks like that. If you give it a stir it will look more normal.

neverknowinglyunreasonable · 23/04/2025 21:36

Absolutely fine. Give it a stir.

Just seen this is old.... Update please. Did you eat it?

Gizmosgremlins · 23/04/2025 23:18

Thank you all...i did eat it, it was delicious and I'm still alive so win win all round. Thanks for the reassurance 😊
