Ideas for 18th birthday gifts.

I need inspiration. Dd is turning 18.

I've got her an 18 charm for her nomination bracelet.

I've also got her little things, a hand painted shot glass with 18 on, leopard print make up bag.

I'd like to get her something a bit special.

Her siblings have clubbed together and they're all going to Amsterdam for 2 days.

Any ideas welcomed. Thank you

depends on your budget? A car? A watch? A nice piece of jewellery, a large amount of money, buy her some stocks, a nice holiday for the two of you

Dd1 was 18 in January - we gifted her a year of gigs 🎶. 12 gigs of her choosing through the year, mostly cheap/local ones, and the rest around £40/£50 ish. I'm working on scrapbooking some photos and memories from each so far.

She also had a nice handbag, and a couple of silly things, plus a meal out to celebrate. I probably went overboard if I add up what's been spent but the aim was something memorable.

Jewellery. I still have the ring I got for my 16th, the necklace for my 18th and another ring for my 21st. (I'm now 40 and still wear them)

Thank you. She does love a gig. She's got a couple lined up in june. I could look for comedy and local stuff too.

I heard her ask her dad for a chain to go with a necklace charm so I dont want to step on his toes with jewellery.

Jewellery. I got my DDs a necklace made from some jewellery given to me by my mum and their dad I didn’t wear. I was able to choose a design ( one of them is mad on rugby so it was a silver rugby ball) it wasn’t that expensive about £160 per necklace

My daughter is 18 in a few weeks.
I’ve booked a surprise trip to Paris for me & her.
I’m going to get her a piece of jewellery and maybe a cocktail making experience..she’s quite partial to a mojito or daiquiri!

I was on a very tight budget when my children had their 18th birthdays, but I had small pieces of jewellery made for them to their design. My youngest chose to have a simple silver ring, a plain band set with rose quartz I think. My eldest chose a silver necklace with apatite. These are items that nobody else will ever have, completely I have to them. Not hugely valuable in monetary terms, but very important to them.
