Weightloss & Fitness With Fibro!

Hey all!

So back story I got injured at work in 2019, resulted in an operation on my foot and then 6 years of hospital appointments, I'll health and pain!

Diagnosed with Fibromaralga, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue syndrome!

Since I cant go to the gym like I used to, I've gained almost 4 stone in weight, and I am so down about it.

What can I do at home to help with the weight loss and fitness?

I hate the way I look, I feel disgusted honestly and it's Impacting my relationship as I feel ugly. I have a real issue with over eating ( was in a DV relationship with first partner and starved myself to 5 stone was anorexic for years and very unwell) and now I'm the opposite.

Any help would be appreciated 🥰

I used to go to the gym, run, do weights etc 6 times a week until I suddenly couldn’t get out of bed. I was finally diagnosed with CFS/Fibro & a few other th8ngs.
I did gain weight and I was also disgusted with myself.
I worked out my TDEE and started weighing and logging everything on My Fitness Pal.
I’m still unable to exercise but I lost, and have kept off, 4&1/2 stone. It’s possible to lose weight without doing any exercise at all.
Fitness is a separate matter, a trip to the supermarket leaves me exhausted so exercise is out. On good days I might manage a 20 min brisk (well, as brisk as I can manage) walk or 10 mins of yoga, but those days are sporadic and not very frequent.

Well done on thr weightloss that's amazing! I'm.sorry you have been diagnosed with all you have, it's life changing and not in a good way.

I will download my fitness pal what does TDEE mean? X
