Things you've said that now make you cringe

Either here, elsewhere online or in real life.

My IRL is when I was pregnant with DD and a friend said oh I wonder what TV character she will be into. I stopped in my tracks, turned to her and said " oh, she won't be watching enough TV to even know who any characters ARE!"
(what an horrible self righteous idiot I was)
On here (many years ago) a lot of needless LTBs, no real thought for how difficult, expensive and mad it is for very frivolous issues!

Also lots of excessive in your face pro choice stuff. I don't regret my stance but I do regret how insufferable I was.

Pretty much anything that came out of my mouth between ages 15 and 23ish! Blush

No need to cringe about stuff said on here though. It's an anonymous forum!

I think we have all been like that pre child. Haha. I'm more a go with that flow paremt these days especially with DC2.

I cringe whenever I think back to before I left uni and spoke to someone at work about going in to the field I was studying (they had worked in said field before) all I went on about was what I would wear to interviews and where I would shop for clothes for my job. Honestly she must have thought I was a right plonker. Subsequently I don't work in that field and don't shop in the fancy shops for workweek.

When I met DH for the very first time I told him where I worked and then said ‘For my sins!!’ And did a stupid awkward laugh and it still makes me cringe 20 years on. He doesn’t even remember!!
