SEND in Schools and the Govt attitude

Does anyone else see a crisis here? Having seen that Sir Lindsay Hoyle has tried to stop a report that says SEND in State is on its knees and failing our kids from being used in the VAT on Education court case I am worried that all children in all sectors are about to be hit with the fallout of this...and the Government dont seem to care who they pick on. Does anyone else think that?

here’s another shocking video from today from Ana Boulter that’s worth watching too…

Isn’t the speaker meant to be impartial?

It is disgraceful that they are now attacking disabled children.

and how is this not on the news?!

It’s been declining for years, but is now in complete crisis. As is much of the education system in general.

It’s a travesty, but it won’t be important to the government in the scheme of things. There is a perfect storm of increasing need and decreasing resource.

The send system has been on the brink of collapse for a while. I am incredibly worried about labours words and actions to this so far for pupils in the state sector. I don't think they understand the issue and they don't have any ideas.

I agree entirely. What use is any amount of money if they dont know how to spend it? I genuinely dont think they have the first idea what SEND actually covers.
