Boots Airport Click and Collect !

We are flying through Gatwick on Tuesday and ordered a Click and Collect order for delivery on Saturday 12th .
However , it arrived last Monday on the 7th .
I cannot get through to anyone to ensure they don’t return the parcel after 7 days as they mention they do .
I’m assuming / hoping the return date is 7 days after the delivery date we opted for ( as in yesterday ) !
Any experience would be most helpful .
It happened last year too but I was able to get in contact with the store to guarantee they kept my items .
Thank you for any experience.

They keep it 10 days at Manchester. Presumably Gatwick is the same. Where are you seeing 7 days?

Thanks so much , I think I read it in their website somewhere in the FAQs. It's just not clear whether the 7 ( or 10 ) days start on the day they deliver ( which was super fast !) or the day that I designated .

I think it’s actually 7 days now. Maybe you can reorder and hope that one of the parcels is there and leave the other one for a refund

Contact their customer service via phone. I found they were really efficient and helpful when I did.

my order didn’t arrive at the airport in time and they sorted it all the be cancelled no problem so hopefully they can help with yours being kept for you.

It's 7 days from the date you selected when ordering - had exactly the same issue just now (not airport though), they delivered to store 5 days earlier but the note said they'll keep it for 7 days from requested date

Thank you all . That is reassuring nearlylovemyusername.
I have spent the morning and some of yesterday trying to contact them and have had no luck whatsoever .
I just keep getting menu after menu .....
Will be very annoyed if the order is not there as really don't want the hassle and the expense of buying everything again in Gatwick .

@FoodieToo@DubLasshow did you get on with this? We’re currently having the same problem, ordered for collection from the 27th (we fly on the 1st) and it was delivered to store last Friday! Just want to make sure it will still be there when we fly next week

I had this the other week. My order arrived on the 12th August, due to fly on the 21st. The email says it will be returned after 7 days of the original collection date. If you scroll down it should also give the ‘ready to collect date’ which will be the date you wanted to collect. It was all there on departure day despite it being past the 7 day mark so as long as your email says the same it should all be fine.
